School Development

The school is currently well underway with fundraising for the development of a new purpose built, state of the art Domestic Science Centre and to enclose the outdoor heated pool.

A cover on the pool will mean that the children will benefit from the use of the pool all year. The facility will also be hired out to external clubs.

The Domestic Science Centre will enable the children to learn how to cook with a sound knowledge of food hygiene and basic skills in the kitchen. This building will complement the highly acclaimed Art, Design and Technology Block. Many events are held on the Year 8 Lawn and it will enable caterers to have easy access to events.

The "Donate a Brick" Campaign is now underway. This is the second phase of the school's fund raising efforts and will enable pupils, parents and all those associated with the school to make a lasting impression. all you need to do is provide us with your name and this will be engraved into one of the paving bricks that will be used in the entrance to the building. This will become your permanent legacy to the project. Please e-mail the school office (office@boundaryoak.co.uk) for the relevant form and visit www.justgiving.com/BOFFIN to donate.

You can also help raise funds for the development by shopping online via easyfundraising.org.uk. There are over 2,000 retailers listed on this site and all you need to do is nominate Boundary Oak as your preferred charity.
