EYFS Nursery

The Nursery at Boundary Oak School is full of happy children completely absorbed inthe many activities which take place everyday. The children in our care are encouraged to be active and confident, and we work hard to help them to develop good personal and social skills.

As well as the six areas of learning, which our fully trained and experienced staff introduce to the children, we are able to offer so much more because of the possibilities our beautiful grounds provide; woodland walks, pond dipping, and the use of the large indoor hall and the all-weather astroturf. If you visit our school you will often come across a crocodile of nursery children in their wellies and sunhats on their way to another adventure.

We are also fortunate that the Nursery is housed in a beautiful purpose built oak-framed building and we can offer full time education or part-time sessions, for children aged between 2 three quarters and 4 plus. Wraparound care from 8am to 6pm with breakfast, after school club and supper is also available, if required.
A fully trained First Aider is always on site.

Trips are an important part of the Nursery calendar and the visit to Marwell Zoo in the summer is a firm favourite. We also encourage the children to experience the wider school setting because it makes the transition from Nursery to Pre Prep easier as well as being a lot of fun for the Pre Prep and Nursery children. The Nursery join the Pre Prep Department for special assemblies, such as the Easter Bonnet Parade and take part in Sports Day and Christmas productions.

We provide a friendly and secure environment for your child as they begin their first steps towards full time school. Come and meet us at one of our free nursery taster sessions.
