Preparatory (years 4-5)
| Preparatory (years 4-5) is a gradual transition from class based learning in Pre-prep to more subject specialisation in Preparatory. There is continued emphasis on Numeracy and Literacy but pupils benefit from a broad curriculum including specialist teaching in French, ICT, Music, Art, Design and Technology, and Games and Physical Education. Setting and differentiation within the Preparatory years ensure that each child can realise their potential and develop their talents. Each child has a form teacher who closely monitors each pupil’s academic, personal and social development. |

Drama and Music form an important part of the curriculum with an annual Preparatory school production performed in the School Hall for friends and family. Each child is encouraged to play in Under 9 and Under 10 school sports teams throughout the year.
Preparatory offers a happy and stable environment in which each pupil is valued as an individual and is encouraged to make a full contribution. |
