EYFS Reception and Pre-prep

Pre-prep at Boundary Oak School provides a warm, caring, stimulating environment in which children feel secure and happy. They are encouraged and enabled to achieve their full potential in all areas of development. The broad and balanced curriculum provides the children with the opportunity to develop their attitudes, knowledge and skills in order to prepare them for the next stage of their education and general development.

Pre-prep staff work as a team to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment where each child feels unique. Sports days, school plays, science exploration days, book week, gardening, Easter bonnet parades and mini-beast hunting are all part of our everyday learning experiences. Learning takes place not only in the classroom but also in the woods and gardens of the lovely school grounds. Every opportunity is taken to explore the world outside Boundary Oak School through a wide range of educational visits.

An important part of the children’s lives are those small, everyday occurrences; children learning together, sharing, playing, laughing with each other and above all learning to find joy in friendships and the world around them.
