Introduction to Boundary Oak
School
Boundary Oak is an impressive preparatory school on a beautiful 23 acre rural site in Southern Hampshire, easily accessible from Junction 10 of the M27 motorway.
I joined the school as Headmaster in September 2005 and am delighted that family values are at the heart of this school. My wife Emma and I have been quickly made to feel that we belong. Our three children love the space here and the fact that everyone knows them well. They are proud to attend Boundary Oak!
There is no pretence here, the children are expected to work hard and respect everyone they meet, regardless of age or background. We are a small school where the rights of each child and adult in the community are important and ‘old fashioned’ values like good manners, respect and common sense are rewarded. Each child is encouraged to set themselves realistic targets to aim for in their academic work and in the wider school activities. They are encouraged to be busy and involve themselves in all the school provides, this positive attitude encourages a zest for living and will serve them well for later life.
| We have a good record of sending boys and girls to a wide range of well regarded local day schools and boarding schools further a field. (DESTINATIONS OF BOUNDARY OAK LEAVERS) Boundary Oak has hard working parents who even find time to support the school in all its matches and events. We are lucky to have a vibrant parents association, BOSS, who constantly raise money for the nice extras that the children enjoy. |

We are a modern thinking school who run an 8am to 6pm service for those families who need it and offer a very flexible boarding house which children can use weekly or nightly dependant on need. The school also provides its own wraparound holiday Treehouse Club for large parts of the school holidays.
I have been pleased to welcome a good number of new girls and boys to the school in my first two years and one of the great pleasures of my job is to show our school to new families. If you would like to come and see a good co-educational preparatory school in action you wil receive a very warm welcome at Boundary Oak. I look forward to meeting you.
